Victoza is a medical treatment used by individuals who suffer from type 2 diabetes. However, it may have a lot of side effects on the human body, one should be careful and always consult a doctor before starting this treatment.

What are some of the side effects caused by Victoza?

Inflammation of the pancreas: severe pain in the stomach is a symptom of inflammation of the pancreas, with or without vomiting.

Hypoglycemia (low blood pressure):

Common symptoms of low blood pressure are:

  • Nausea: a feeling of sickness, with a sense of vomiting.
  • Dizziness: feeling unsteady.
  • Hunger: feeing of discomfort caused by lack of food.
  • Mood swings: regular change of moods.
  • Blurred vision: unclear eyesight.
  • Headache: pain in the head.
  • Weakness: being weak, lack of strength.
  • Shakiness: feeling of trembles.
  • Confusion: uncertainty of what is happening.
  • Anxiety: feeling of worry or nervousness.

Gallbladder problems: pain in the right or middle part of the stomach. Symptoms of gallbladder problems are: diarrhea, vomiting, fever, nausea etc.

Allergic reactions: itchiness, difficulty breathing, having rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips or tongue.

On another note, Victoza can have a more serious side effect such as Thyroid cancer. Having a lump or swelling in the area of the neck, could be signs of thyroid cancer.
